Dress code! It really works!

In different occasions, people need to wear certain clothes. Undeniably, people complained about the disadvantage of dress code, which limits a students' personality. In fact, students can wear what they want if they obey the dress code. Below are some of the reasons why dress code is a very reasonable idea.

Dress code makes people feel much more professional. This is my first year at Mercersburg, and I joined tennis for the fall term. One day, I just wear a blouse with a strip on it to play tennis, then my coach laughed and said: "It seems that you are not ready for tennis, but for math class." And that is also the reason why school athletic teams need to have their own uniforms, because it shows team spirit. Another example is that when students are doing experiments in the labs, their clothing needs to match the requirements for lab usage. They can't wear contacts or their eyes are going to react tore is going to be reactions in their eyes! They can't wear slippery, or it is very easy to slip and drop the chemicals. They can't wear jewels, otherwise there is going to be something disastrous happen.

Dress code really helps students behave in a more serious manner. When students are having class, they are not allowed to wear hats; otherwise it is really rude to their teachers. There are some connections between study effect and wearing. When people feel more serious, they tend to be more careful about their work, and try to higher their work efficiency.

Also, dress codes make people care more about etiquette. On Monday dinner, everyone needs to wear semi-formal dress. This is a very good suggestion since people can learn to behave in an appropriate way.

In conclusion, people should realize that dress code really works. It makes people much more professional, much more serious, and it makes them pay more attention to the etiquette.
