The Poll

The Poll this week asked, if the students liked the History of Love and the speech of Nicole Krauss. Most answered the question about the History of Love with "No", whereas the majority answered the question about the speech of Nicole Krauss with "Yes". That can mean many different things: That Nicole Krauss is a bad writer but a good speaker, that her personality is really nice, and/or that her book doesn't reflect her personality. I voted exactly like the majority, because I didn't like the book, but I liked the speech, because it was about her writing methods which were confusing to me and now I know why I didn't like the book.
