Week of Exams- has there ever been more stress?

You’ve been working hard this entire season. The stress is steadily increasing and your final game is in 1 week. Then, finals come knocking at your door saying, “Hey! Its the last push, you can do it.” You think to yourself, “YES! This is the perfect time to start reviewing.” Its Friday, you have practice but all you can think about is how you have to study hard starting that day until next week. You go through school thinking about how to make things easier to study. The day goes by perfectly and all you want to do is practice and enjoy the sport you love for a few hours. When you leave practice, you’re sweaty and tired as always. You take a quick shower and go to dinner yet even while eating, you’re still thinking about studying. On your way to your dorm, you find some of your friends chilling in Lower Ford. You know you can’t stay, but in the end you decide to anyway. “Just a few minutes,” you naively say to yourself. Those “few minutes” become hours sooner than you expected. Its 10 pm now, and you’re just walking back to your dorm. You sign in and think, “I have to study!” Before going to sleep, you set your alarm to 7:00 am and pray that you’ll wake up early enough to study.

Yes, the sleeping is over is 7 am and its time to wake up. You jump out of bed and have a lot of energy to start. Books, notes, homework, everything is ready. You study from 7 am to 11 am but you haven’t finished yet you got to breakfast before its time for practice. Through out the practice, your coach is stressing out over the games in the next few days. You are just freaked out about the intense speech he just gave your team. You realize once again that you have to study. You don’t really want that. You’re done now! The stress is over. You can finally take a nice, long shower.
